Depending on how the XBB Dongle is installed, an additional cable may sometimes be required. A Y-splitter might be necessary if something is already connected to the OBD2 port. In some cases, an extension cable may be needed if the OBD2 port is inconveniently located.
We sell two different types of cables specifically for these purposes.
Note: It is important to ensure that when using these cables, the XBB Dongle is mounted in a way that it maintains a stable contact with the car's interior and does not hang freely. This ensures that the built-in accelerometer in the XBB Dongle can detect the car's movements, wake it from standby mode, and function properly.
